Veteran Star Shabana Azmi to Hoist Indian Flag at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne


Renowned Indian actress Shabana Azmi will have the esteemed privilege of hoisting the Indian flag at the upcoming Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) on August 12, in celebration of the Independence Day weekend in Australia. The much-anticipated festival is all set to commence its annual event from August 11 to 20 this year.

Expressing her joy and honor to be a part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, Shabana Azmi was thrilled to have been chosen for the special task of hoisting the Indian national flag on this significant occasion.
