Fallon Shilanthi Becomes First Sri Lankan Canadian to Win Mrs. Canada World:In a historic moment for the Sri Lankan and Canadian communities, Fallon Shilanthi has been crowned Mrs. Canada World 2025–2026, becoming the first Sri Lankan Canadian to win this prestigious title. With elegance, purpose, and grace, Fallon will now represent Canada on the international stage at Mrs. World 2026, to be held in the United States this coming January.

Fallon’s journey in the world of pageantry is both inspiring and trailblazing. Her early breakthrough came in 2010 when she was crowned ‘Derana’ Veet Miss Sri Lanka for Miss World, where she secured a place among the Top 40 in the Beach Beauty competition. Yet even earlier, in 2008, she achieved global recognition by becoming 1st Runner-Up at the Best Model of the World competition in Spain, impressing judges with her poise, charisma, and international appeal.

Now residing in Canada, Fallon has embraced her new home while staying rooted in her cultural heritage. Joining the Mrs. Canada World platform was a natural progression, allowing her to amplify her voice and inspire others with her personal story of authenticity, transformation, and courage.
Beyond the glitz and glamour, Fallon is dedicated to a greater cause. As Mrs. Canada World, she will serve as a powerful advocate for vulnerable children through her charity initiative, Hope for Little Lights. This foundation focuses on supporting children facing hardship, delivering essential care, resources, and life-changing opportunities.

“Every child deserves safety, love, and the chance to thrive,” Fallon shared. “Through Hope for Little Lights, I hope to bring those essentials into their lives.”
Mrs. Canada Inc., the organization behind the pageant, stands committed to diversity, inclusivity, and empowerment. It offers a national stage for married and unmarried women to display their beauty with purpose, showcasing talent, intelligence, and compassion.
With this win, Fallon Shilanthi not only breaks new ground but also lights the way for future generations of diverse Canadian women aiming to make an impact globally.
