Ashfaq Syed Submits Petitions for City Council Ballot Access. Ashfaq Syed, candidate for Naperville City Council, was among the first in line to submit his petitions, aiming to secure the top spot on the ballot for the April 1st municipal elections. Demonstrating strong community support, Ashfaq gathered over 1,100 signatures, surpassing the required number with enthusiastic backing from Naperville residents. Ashfaq wants to extend his sincere gratitude to all Naperville’s residents who were willing to sign his petitions.

In addition to his successful gathering of petitions, Ashfaq also raised the most funds of any candidate last quarter, showcasing the growing momentum and support behind his campaign. “I am incredibly humbled and grateful for the overwhelming support I’ve received from our community,” said Ashfaq. “Being among the first to submit my petitions reflects my dedication to serving Naperville and ensuring every resident has a voice in our city’s future.”
