The Desi Buzz Changemakers Award is the world's first Changemaker Recognition initiative to recognize the millions of South Asian diaspora from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka who have contributed to their adopted home countries in terms of business, innovation, academics, research, social impact, media, finance, startups, medicine & healthcare, and advocacy for change.

PROCESS

  • Open to all South Asian Diaspora Individuals or South Asian Diaspora-promoted Organizations.
  • South Asian Individuals or South Asian-promoted Organizations can nominate themselves or other South Asian Individuals or South Asian-promoted.
  • There are no nomination fees
  • The management & Jury would shortlist the winners
  • Deadline: July 5th, 2024 (MIDNIGHT EST)
  • Gala Event: August 21st, 2024 UAE

UNIQUENESS

  • First time the South Asian Diaspora would be recognized on a global scale.
  • The winners would be felicitated at a Gala Event in the UAE.
