A Wealth of Experience and Commitment to Mission

Bringing a wealth of experience to his new role, Siddiqi holds a PhD in Finance from York University in Canada. Having spent over two decades in financial services, Siddiqi’s transition to Wayne Metro began 4.5 years ago when he joined as the Director of Data Strategy. His subsequent role as Executive Director for Technology, Development, and Data Strategy underscored his dedication and leadership within the agency.

Driving Efficiency and Effectiveness

Now assuming the position of CAO, Siddiqi is poised to utilize his expertise to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Wayne Metro’s support departments. His goal is to align these departments with the agency’s overarching mission. thereby advancing the organization’s objectives and fostering positive change within the community.

Beyond his professional achievements, Siddiqi’s personal experiences enrich his perspective. Having lived in seven countries across three continents. He brings a spirit of adventure and openness to his role. His passion for traveling and exploring new cultures reflects his commitment to embracing diversity and seeking innovative solutions.

Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency (Wayne Metro) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is serving approximately 75,000 low-and moderate-income residents throughout Wayne County. We provide over 100 programs in the areas of Quality Housing, Family Stability and Economic Opportunities. Our services include financial capability education, homeownership workshops, housing counseling, financial counseling, utility assistance, Head Start, GED preparation, free tax preparation, foreclosure prevention and homeless services.
