Dubai to Introduce Tourist Visa Applications Through Visit Dubai Website, Announces Exclusive Dubai Access Club Membership: Dubai is expanding its digital tourism services with a new online visa application facility and an invitation-only membership programme designed to attract international visitors and encourage repeat travel.

Dubai is set to make travel planning more convenient for international visitors by introducing tourist visa applications through Visit Dubai, the emirate’s official tourism website. The announcement was made by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on November 1, 2026, alongside the launch of the Dubai Access Club, an exclusive tourism membership programme.

The new digital service will allow eligible international travellers to apply for single-entry and multiple-entry tourist visas through the Visit Dubai platform. The initiative is expected to be introduced during November 2026, bringing visa application services closer to the tourism information and travel-planning facilities already available on the website.

The move is part of Dubai’s wider efforts to simplify visitor services, strengthen its digital infrastructure and improve the overall experience for international tourists.

Tourist Visa Applications Through Visit Dubai

Under the proposed arrangement, visitors will be able to access tourist visa application services through Visit Dubai, making it easier to combine holiday planning with visa-related requirements.

The platform provides information about visa categories, application fees, documentation requirements and processing timelines.

Dubai offers several tourist visa options, including 30-day and 60-day single-entry visas and multiple-entry visas. A five-year multiple-entry tourist visa is also available, subject to eligibility and applicable conditions.

The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) will continue to oversee visa processing and approvals.

The integration is expected to provide another digital channel for travellers who need to arrange their visas before arriving in the UAE.

Dubai Access Club: Exclusive Membership for Visitors

Alongside the visa initiative, Sheikh Hamdan announced the Dubai Access Club, an invitation-only membership programme aimed at building stronger relationships with international visitors and encouraging them to return to the city.

The programme is expected to provide selected members with exclusive benefits and experiences across Dubai. It reflects the emirate’s strategy of developing long-term connections with visitors rather than focusing exclusively on individual tourist trips.

Through curated experiences and membership-based benefits, Dubai aims to strengthen its appeal among frequent international travellers, business visitors and leisure tourists.

Further details about membership eligibility, benefits and enrolment are expected to be announced by the authorities.

Collaboration Between Government and Tourism Authorities

The two initiatives have been developed through collaboration between the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and Digital Dubai.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, highlighted the importance of integrating government services into digital platforms to improve convenience, efficiency and the visitor experience.

The initiatives also support Dubai’s broader digital transformation objectives and its ambition to strengthen its position as an international destination for tourism, business, entertainment and investment.

Strengthening Dubai’s Global Tourism Appeal

Dubai continues to attract visitors from India, Europe, Asia, Africa and other international markets through its shopping destinations, hospitality sector, entertainment attractions, cultural experiences and business opportunities.

For Indian travellers in particular, Dubai remains an important destination for holidays, shopping, family visits, events and business travel.

By combining tourist visa applications with an exclusive membership programme, Dubai is looking to make the visitor journey more integrated while encouraging repeat visits.

The developments also align with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to position the emirate among the world’s leading destinations for business and leisure.

With the introduction of Visit Dubai visa applications and the Dubai Access Club, the emirate is continuing to explore digital solutions and visitor-focused initiatives to support the next phase of its tourism growth.
