The 74th India’s Republic Day Celebration by the Federation of Indian Association Chicago has been held every year with great fervor since 1980.
More than 350 people attended the event at Fairfield Inn & Suite by Marriott at Schaumburg, IL earlier this month. The celebration started with the American and Indian anthem and lamp lighting by Deputy Consul General of India, Chicago – Shri T D Bhutia.
Honorable guest Shri Raja Krishnamoorthy’s shared the importance of the constitution and Republic Day celebration.
Installation and Oath Ceremony for the Incoming President and Executive committee for 2023 was processed by Mr. Kantibhai S Patel – Election Committee Chair of FIA.
Dr. Rashmi Patel, president of FIA since 1980, shared his vision for FIA. Cultural programs kept the audiences enthralled through the evening.
