IBPC Kuwait Honors Meritorious Indian Students at 7th Annual Award Ceremony. The Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) Kuwait hosted its 7th Meritorious Award Ceremony, celebrating the outstanding academic achievements of Indian students in Kuwait. The event, held in the presence of Indian Ambassador Dr. Adarsh Swaika, brought together senior embassy officials, school principals, teachers, parents, students, and IBPC members to honor excellence in education.

The ceremony, hosted by talented young students from various Indian schools, showcased the vibrant energy and intellectual prowess of the Indian student community in Kuwait. A total of 141 students who scored 96 percent and above in their Class X and Class XII board examinations (2024) were recognized for their exceptional academic performance.

In addition to individual accolades, the Best Performing School Awards were presented to:

  • Indian Educational School (Bhavans Kuwait) – Best Performing School for Class X
  • Indian Community School Kuwait – Best Performing School for Class XII

Keynote Address by IBPC Chairman CA Kaizar T Shakir
In his inspiring speech, CA Kaizar T Shakir, Chairman of IBPC, emphasized the importance of perseverance, continuous learning, and ethical values. He encouraged students to view academic excellence as a stepping stone and to focus on building character and resilience, which are essential for becoming future leaders.

Ambassador Dr. Adarsh Swaika’s Message
Dr. Swaika congratulated the awardees and applauded their hard work and dedication. He highlighted the pivotal role of education in strengthening the India-Kuwait relationship and shaping a brighter future for both nations.

Event Coordination and Acknowledgments
The ceremony was formally opened by IBPC Joint Secretary Sunit Arora, who welcomed the guests and delivered the vote of thanks. Arora expressed gratitude to all stakeholders, including schools, parents, and students, for their contributions to the event’s success.
