Indian American Entrepreneur Gogi Gupta’s Gupta Media Named to Boston Globe’s 2025 Top Places to Work: Gupta Media, founded by Indian American entrepreneur Gogi Gupta, has been named one of the Boston Globe’s 2025 Top Places to Work in Massachusetts. The honor comes from the Globe’s 18th annual, employee-based survey, which recognizes the most admired workplaces as voted on by employees themselves.

Only Advertising Agency on the 2025 List
Notably, Gupta Media earned recognition in the Top Small Business category (50–99 employees) and stands out as the only advertising agency to appear on the Globe’s 2025 list. This distinction underscores the firm’s rare achievement in an industry known for relentless pace, high pressure, and demanding client expectations.
Founder Gogi Gupta Reflects on a Career Milestone
Reflecting on the honor, founder Gogi Gupta called the recognition a defining moment in his career, especially as the company approaches its 25th anniversary in 2026.

“Our biggest bet has always been on people, culture, and collaboration,” Gupta said. “Ad agencies usually do not win awards like this. Professional services businesses are built to absorb pressure and deliver under constant expectations. Balancing employee well-being with complex client demands is not simple. That’s why this recognition—voted on by our own team—is so meaningful. It shows we’ve built a place where people can bring their full selves while achieving ambitious goals.”
In addition to the ranking, Boston Globe Magazine spotlighted Gupta Media in its annual Top Places to Work issue for its leadership in helping young professionals rebuild critical professional and soft skills impacted during the remote-work era.
Specifically, the publication praised Gupta Media’s Medley training program, which focuses on communication, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving. The program was highlighted as a model for forward-thinking organizations investing in long-term talent development.
Employee Voices Drive the Rankings
Top Places to Work honors are based entirely on confidential employee feedback, collected by Energage (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), an independent firm specializing in employee engagement and retention. This year’s rankings analyzed responses from more than 120,000 employees across 314 Massachusetts organizations.
The survey evaluated key areas such as company direction, leadership, execution, compensation, benefits, workplace connection, and overall engagement. The 2025 honorees were celebrated at the Globe’s annual awards dinner on Tuesday, December 2, with the full list published in Boston Globe Magazine on Sunday, December 7.
A Culture Built at the Intersection of Creativity, Data, and Technology
Founded in Boston and now operating globally, Gupta Media has evolved into a strategic consultancy and performance marketing leader. The company credits its growth to a culture rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning, while investing heavily in employee development and innovation at the intersection of creativity, analytics, and emerging technology.
Recognition Reinforces the Power of People-First Leadership
Katie Johnston, editor of the Globe’s Top Places to Work, emphasized the importance of employee-driven recognition.
“When employees feel valued, they’re motivated to do their best,” Johnston said. “That’s the ultimate win-win for everyone at the 175 organizations that made this year’s list.”
As Gupta Media continues to scale globally, its inclusion on the Boston Globe’s 2025 Top Places to Work list reinforces a powerful message: sustainable success in advertising begins with investing in people.
