The Lohana Community North London (LCNL) celebrated Ram Navami Utsav on Wednesday, April 17th.

Supported by the Yajmans of the late Shree Hirjibhai Thakrar’s family, including Prakashbhai, Rajubhai, Bharatbhai, Sanjaybhai, and the Thakrar Parivar. They have been instrumental in organizing this event for the past five years.

This year’s celebration held special significance, coinciding with the opening of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, India, resonating with themes of unity and devotion.

The event highlighted the timeless virtues of kindness, compassion, humility, and justice embodied by Lord Ram, drawing parallels with the legendary Raghuvanshi. Transforming The Dhamecha Lohana Centre into a vibrant spectacle resembling mini Ayodhya. The event featured melodious bhajans performed by Nikesh Parmar and Rajvi Raja.

Welcoming the guests, LCNL President Meenaben Jasani and the Executive Committee expressed gratitude to the Thakrar Family and Committee members. With captivating decorations by Prafulaben Chotai and Maheshwariben Kotecha enhancing the ambiance. Distinguished guests, including Harrow Mayor Ramji Chauhan and Mayoress Meena Chauhan, along with Councillor Anjana Patel and members of the LCNL Community, attended the program.

With an impressive turnout of over 800 guests. The event fostered spiritual connection and festive cheer, epitomizing the spirit of sharing and friendship within the Lohana community.

Vice President Ronak Paw delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective effort that made the celebration a resounding success.
