Outreach Qatar celebrates Onam. Outreach Qatar recently celebrated the vibrant festival of Onam with a grand event at the Maestro Hall in the Skills Development Centre, bringing together children and parents for a day of festivities. A highlight of the celebration was the traditional Onam Sadhya, where 150 plantain leaves were laid out for a sumptuous feast, capturing the essence of Kerala’s rich cultural heritage.
The event wasn’t just about the food. It was the children’s spontaneous performances that truly stole the show. With no prior rehearsals, the young participants confidently took to the stage, showcasing their talents with enthusiasm and energy. Their performances, filled with confidence and willpower, delighted the audience and added a special charm to the occasion.
In his welcome address, General Secretary Sameer Moosa expressed his gratitude to everyone involved. MC Member Rama Selvam also extended a warm welcome, setting the tone for the day’s celebrations. The event was supported by the entire Outreach Qatar team, including President Avinash Gaikwad, Advisory Board Chairman P.N. Baburajan, and other board members, who worked together to ensure a memorable day for all attendees.
The Onam celebration was a perfect blend of tradition, community spirit, and joyful performances, making it an unforgettable experience for the Outreach Qatar family.
