Popular Actor-Turned-Politician Vijay Arrives in Kuala Lumpur Ahead of Jana Nayagan Audio Launch: Popular South Indian actor-turned-politician Vijay arrived in Kuala Lumpur today, drawing massive attention ahead of the audio launch of his upcoming film Jana Nayagan, scheduled for tomorrow at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil. The high-profile event is already generating strong buzz across social media platforms and among Tamil cinema fans worldwide.

According to event organiser Malik Streams Corporation, the 51-year-old actor landed at Subang Skypark at around 4.30 pm local time after travelling from Chennai via a private jet. Soon after his arrival, videos and photographs of Vijay’s reception began circulating widely online, amplifying excitement for the mega event.
Moreover, Vijay received a warm welcome at the airport with a brief traditional dance performance, accompanied by the film’s music director, Anirudh Ravichander. Viral footage showed Vijay acknowledging the performers with gratitude. In one widely shared clip, he was seen holding a Bluetooth speaker for the dancers and greeting them with a friendly wave, a gesture that resonated strongly with fans.
Meanwhile, Vijay has earlier indicated that he plans to gradually scale down his acting career as he increases his involvement in politics in India. Nevertheless, Jana Nayagan continues to command significant attention, reflecting his enduring influence in cinema.
In the days leading up to the audio launch, several updates featuring the film’s production team in Malaysia have also gone viral. Organisers have described the event as a tribute-style entertainment programme and expect a massive turnout. Notably, the National Stadium Bukit Jalil can accommodate up to 85,000 spectators, underlining the scale of the occasion.
The programme will unfold in two segments. First, Thalapathy Thiruvizha will feature a tribute concert with around 30 singers. Subsequently, the official audio launch will take place, during which Vijay and key members of the cast and crew will address the audience.
Additionally, several prominent figures from the Tamil film industry, including directors Atlee and Nelson Dilipkumar, along with actor-director Prabhu Deva, have also arrived in Malaysia to attend the event.
Produced by KVN Productions, Jana Nayagan is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 9, 2026. As anticipation builds, Vijay’s Kuala Lumpur visit has further strengthened expectations for what is set to be one of the biggest audio launch events in recent Tamil cinema history.
