In a heartwarming display of community solidarity and compassion, the Telangana Welfare Association – Qatar (TWA-Q), in partnership with the Center for Indian Community (CIC) Qatar – Rayan Zone, successfully completed a Mega Iftar campaign on March 29. The initiative aimed to provide Iftar meals to 800 deserving blue-collar workers at a camp in Abu Nakhla.
Mohammed Abdul Rauf, President of TWA-Q, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response received from the Telugu community in Qatar. Their generous contributions made the Mega Iftar Camp possible, catering to the needs of hundreds of blue-collar workers. Additionally, TWA-Q has undertaken the task of distributing 100 Iftar meals daily throughout the month of Ramadan, aiming to reach a total of 3,000 to 3,500 meals. Rauf extended his thanks to the entire team of the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) for their unwavering support and encouragement. Kulwinder Singh Honey, Managing Committee Member and Head of Labour Welfare at ICBF, graced the event with his presence.
Khaja Nizamuddin, Chairman of TWA-Q, affirmed the organization’s commitment to continue undertaking noble causes in the future. He called upon community leaders, TWA members, and the Telugu community in Qatar to offer their continuous support for such initiatives.
