Telugu Times Honors Telugu Entrepreneurs for Business Excellence in USA: In a vibrant celebration held in Edison, New Jersey, Telugu Times, a leading 22-year-old news magazine serving the NRI Telugu community in the USA, honored outstanding Telugu entrepreneurs for their excellence in business.
The awards were presented during a grand ceremony attended by key dignitaries and community leaders. Dilip Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner for Trade, Investment, and Innovation at the NYC Mayor’s Office, and Ankur Sharma, Chairman of FIA–NY, served as the chief guests. They lauded the achievements of the NRI Telugu community in both business and cultural spheres.
Congratulatory messages were shared by Sri A Revanth Reddy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, and Sri Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, Consul General of India. Local leadership also praised the community, including Mr. Brian C Wahler, Mayor of Piscataway, and Mr. Sam Joshi, Mayor of Edison, who highlighted the significant contributions of Indian Americans.
The event was attended by leaders from major Telugu associations including TANA, ATA, NATS, TTA, MATA, NRIVA, TDF, and ITServe Alliance. They joined on stage to announce award winners in various categories. Representatives from local Telugu associations such as TFAS, TLCA, NYTTA, and NJ Telugu were also present.
Subba Row Chennuri, Editor & CEO of Telugu Times Media Inc., shared that the awards began in 2023 to create a platform for rising NRI Telugu entrepreneurs in the United States. “Our goal is to inspire and recognize business leaders who contribute to the economic and cultural fabric of America,” he said.
