British Asian Trust Raises £750,000 at Star-Studded Annual Dinner & Reception. More than 300 supporters of the British Asian Trust gathered at The Peninsula London for the organization’s Annual Dinner & Reception, raising an impressive £750,000 to fund life-changing initiatives in child protection, education, livelihoods, mental health, and conservation. The star-studded event highlighted the Trust’s commitment to creating sustainable change across South Asia.


A Royal Message of Support
The evening was graced by a special message from Royal Founding Patron, His Majesty The King, who praised the Trust as “a beacon of hope for countless communities.” His words underscored the profound impact of the Trust’s work in addressing some of the most pressing challenges faced by vulnerable populations in South Asia.


An Evening of Entertainment and Inspiration
Hosted by British Asian Trust Ambassador and renowned broadcaster Nihal Arthanayake, the event featured unforgettable performances by Magic Singh and chart-topping Indian singer Kanika Kapoor. Their electrifying acts added a touch of glamour and cultural richness to the evening, leaving guests captivated.

The event also featured inspiring speeches by London Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan and The Rt. Hon. Wes Streeting MP, who highlighted the importance of collective action in driving social change.
