Chicago teen Amaan Khan makes history, qualifies for Team Pakistan at World Baseball Classic

According to the Chicago Public Schools website their student from Lane Tech School, Amaan Khan makes history and qualifies for Team Pakistan at World Baseball Classic.

Recently, Amaan Khan was named to Pakistan’s National Team, this is the first time Pakistan is trying to qualify for the World Baseball Classic.

Pakistan is in a qualifying pool with Panama, Nicaragua, Brazil, Argentina, and New Zealand. The Pakistani team has partici[ated in one of the previous qualifying rounds – 2017- but went 0-2, so will be looking for its first win when qualification takes place in September in Panama.
