‘Do Over’ wins big at 14th Norway Tamil Film Festival

Tamil movie ‘Do Over’ directed by filmmaker Sharvi won the Best Social Awareness Film Award at the closing ceremony of the The 14th Tamilar Awards 2023 that celebrates both artistic and technical excellence in Tamil cinema.

The film, ‘Do Over’ has won nearly 90 film festival awards worldwide, and highlights social issues like alcohol abuse. It tells about an alcoholic who loses his loved ones, family, job and friends.

The film stars Maanav, Maria Pinto, Neffie Amelia in pivotal roles and is written and directed by Sharvi. S Saravanan produced the film under the banner of Real Image Films. The awards were presented by host of dignitaries, including Director Vetrimaaran and Vaseeharan Sivalingam, Mayor of Lillestrom, Jorgen Vik, Ragnhild Bergheim Mayor of Lorenskog kommune and Usman Mushtaq Vice Mayor for Employment, Integration and Social services in Oslo.
