Global Sikhs Activates Middle East Support Network to Assist Communities During Regional Uncertainty: Global Sikhs has activated its regional humanitarian support network across the Middle East to assist communities during the current period of regional uncertainty. The initiative aims to provide immediate support services including temporary accommodation, hot meals, and access to verified information based on official government announcements.

The humanitarian service has been opened to all communities and faiths without restrictions, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to inclusive service and community solidarity.

According to Dr. Harmeek Singh, Chairman – Middle East for Global Sikhs and a board member of the parent organization, the initiative reflects the Sikh tradition of service and compassion during challenging times.

“In moments like these, calmness, responsibility, and compassion become essential,” Singh said. “Our message is simple — follow official government guidelines, rely on verified information, avoid spreading unconfirmed reports, and check in on one another. Global Sikhs stands ready to extend support to anyone in need.”

As part of the initiative, the organization has expanded its operational readiness in Qatar, allowing volunteers to coordinate assistance and support communities across the region if required.

The organization said volunteers will help ensure that residents have access to accurate information while also providing practical humanitarian assistance for individuals who may require immediate help.

Residents seeking assistance or verified information can contact the Global Sikhs Middle East team via email at middleeast@theglobalsikhs.org.

Global Sikhs reaffirmed its commitment to humanitarian service and solidarity with residents of the United Arab Emirates and the wider Middle East. The organization also encouraged people to remain calm, responsible, and united while relying on official communication channels for updates.

The initiative reflects the Sikh principle of “seva,” or selfless service, which guides humanitarian efforts by Sikh organizations around the world during times of crisis and uncertainty.
