India Women Under 19s TEAM wins Inaugural ICC WORLD CUP beat England by 7 WICKETS

India produced a dominant performance against England to triumph in the first-ever ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup.

A brilliant new-ball performance was followed by a calm run-chase as India cruised to victory over England in the final, sealing their triumph with seven wickets in hand and six overs to spare.

The Indian Women Under 19 team has won the inaugural U19 WC. The Women in Blue defeated England by 7 wickets to win the World Cup. The entire team played to get their first inaugural U19 WC trophy, Soumya Tiwari and Gongadi Trisha took Team India over the line. Shafali Verma departed early after making an aggressive start for India. Shweta Sehrawat followed her skipper soon. On the cusp of triumph, Gongadi Trisha was the last to lose the wicket for India. Bowling first, India cleaned up the English side for mere 68 runs in 17.1 overs.

And the celebrations were huge as India claimed the title in the first-ever ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup.
