NCP UK Alliance Holds Voter Registration Camps in East London: The NCP UK Alliance recently conducted voter registration camps in Upton Park, Forest Gate, and Plaistow, as part of its campaign “I Will Vote – Participating from Abroad.” The initiative aims to support Bangladeshi expatriates in participating in the upcoming national election in Bangladesh.

Encouraging Expat Participation
The camps provided community members with guidance on the voter registration process, including the steps for postal registration and the verification procedures. Volunteers also highlighted the importance of participating from abroad to strengthen democratic representation.
An NCP UK Alliance spokesperson said, “Today’s response from our community shows the value we place on democratic rights. ‘I Will Vote – Participating from Abroad’ is not just a slogan; it is our commitment. We are helping eligible voters complete the registration process so their voices can be heard.”
Community Engagement
Volunteers and organizers engaged directly with residents, answering questions and providing assistance to ensure that community members could easily complete the registration process. The camps were held across multiple locations in East London, reflecting the outreach efforts of NCP UK Alliance.
The initiative continues NCP’s ongoing work to support expatriate voting rights, offering practical help to ensure that overseas citizens can participate effectively in Bangladesh’s national elections.
