PAA Tampa Bay Celebrates Urdu Literature with Annual Mushaira. Tampa Bay’s Community Education Center came alive on Saturday, November 9, 2024, as the Pakistani American Association (PAA) of Tampa Bay hosted its annual Mushaira. Over 155 lovers of Urdu literature gathered to experience an evening filled with poetic brilliance, soulful performances, and vibrant cultural celebration.
The event, organized in collaboration with CEC Bazm-e-Adab, welcomed Canadian poet Ashfaq Hussain as the guest of honor. A distinguished lineup of poets, including Dr. Zaheer Khan, Neelma Tasawar, Dr. Ashfaq Fatmi, Dr. Sami Mughni, Ahmed Tanha, Aalee Khawar, and Fr. Siddiqi, captivated the audience with their verses. Hamid Mahmood hosted the evening, adding charm and enthusiasm to the event.
