Pakistani film ‘Umro Ayyar: A New Beginning’ released. The much-anticipated “Umro Ayyar: A New Beginning” was released in cinemas this Eid. This Pakistani film draws its inspiration from the classical Urdu-Persian novel Hamzanama, bringing to life the legendary character of Umro Ayyar, a thief and warrior from the Dastan-e-Amir Hamza.

In this adaptation, Amar, a descendant of the legendary Umro Ayyar, steps into the spotlight. A cunning warrior in Persian folklore, Amar is now portrayed as a quantum mechanics professor in Pakistan. After surviving a Jinn attack, his third eye opens, revealing a hidden energy matrix that connects humanity and the Jinn. This revelation sets him on a quest to uncover the true nature of this energy, blending ancient wisdom with modern science.

As Amar navigates this dual reality, he discovers his lineage’s profound responsibility in maintaining balance. With wit and cunning inherited from Umro Ayyar, he ventures into a realm where fable meets reality. Determined to unravel mysteries that transcend time and space, Amar’s journey promises to captivate audiences.

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Sanam Saeed, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Usman Mukhtar, Faran Tahir, Ali Kazmi, Adnan Siddiqui, and Sana Nawaz. Each actor brings depth and charisma to their roles, enhancing the film’s appeal.

Directed by Azfar Jafri and produced by Huma Babur, “Umro Ayyar: A New Beginning” is a project of VR Chilli Productions. The film’s release worldwide on Eid this June is eagerly anticipated by fans of both classical literature and contemporary cinema.

“Umro Ayyar: A New Beginning” promises to be a cinematic experience that blends myth with modernity. As Amar seeks to understand the intricate energy matrix interwoven with humanity and Jinn, audiences will be taken on a journey that transcends traditional storytelling.
