The Punjabi Cultural Society of Chicago (PCS) has announced its new working board for the year 2024, marking a significant step forward for the organization. Dedicated to promoting Punjabi culture, language, and performing arts within both the Punjabi community and mainstream American society, PCS plays a vital role in fostering cultural understanding and appreciation.
In a recent meeting of PCS officials, Dr. Vikramjit Singh Gill M.D., a highly esteemed local physician and longstanding community advocate, was appointed as the 2024 PCS chairman. Dr. Gill, renowned for his medical expertise and deep commitment to community service, brings a wealth of experience and passion to his new role.
Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to lead PCS, Dr. Gill stated, “I am honored to serve as the Chair of this wonderful organization called PCS. It is a time-tested institution, and I am here to offer my support wherever it’s needed.”
Joining Dr. Gill in steering PCS’s mission forward is Manjeet Singh Bhalla, appointed as the PCS President for 2024. With a distinguished career in electrical engineering and extensive experience in community leadership roles, Manjeet Bhalla brings a strategic vision and unwavering commitment to advancing PCS’s objectives.
“We have a dedicated team of PCS officials working hard to produce PCS programs,” remarked Manjeet Singh Bhalla, highlighting the organization’s upcoming event, “Rangla Punjab 2024,” scheduled for April 20th, 2024, at the Copernicus Center in Chicago, Illinois.
