He served as a member of the Rajya Sabha and was actively involved in several humanitarian initiatives. His enduring partnership with actress Saira Banu became one of Bollywood’s most cherished love stories.

Dilip Kumar passed away on July 7, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving behind a legacy that transcends generations.
