Announcing the initiative at ITB Berlin 2024, Omran highlighted the strategic significance of this alliance in advancing Oman’s stature as a premier destination for sustainable tourism and wellness, aligning with its Vision 2040 for sustainable growth.

This partnership underscores Omran’s commitment to enhancing the tourism sector with premium offerings, thereby augmenting its competitiveness in the global arena.

The forthcoming resorts, situated in the Dakhiliyah and Dhofar governorates, will adhere to rigorous sustainability standards while offering a combined total of 182 rooms.

Marking its debut outside of Sri Lanka, Santani Wellness Resorts, renowned for its Sri Lankan Ayurveda traditions, is set to expand its footprint internationally with these properties, reported Spabusiness.

Vickum Nawagamuwage, CEO of Santani, emphasized the shared vision for health, wellbeing, and environmental stewardship, affirming the commitment to providing unparalleled wellness experiences while preserving the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the locations.

With existing retreats in Sri Lanka and ambitious plans for eight additional properties, including those in Oman, Santani aims to deliver authentic and consistent wellness experiences, empowering guests to rejuvenate and reconnect with themselves.

At the heart of Santani’s ethos lies a holistic approach to wellness, blending rejuvenating experiences with educational initiatives to foster long-term habits for mental, spiritual, and physical wellbeing.

“Our upcoming destinations in Oman are being meticulously crafted to harmonize with their natural surroundings, offering a haven for transformative wellness experiences while upholding the highest standards of sustainability,” noted Nawagamuwage.

With a focus on stress management, detoxification, yoga, and weight management, the programming at these properties will be tailored to individual needs, promoting holistic wellbeing.
