24-Year-Old Pharmacist Zaid Bux Launches Free ADHD Platform ‘ADHD Gateway to Help Thousands Across the UK: A 24-year-old pharmacist from Blackburn has launched a free online platform designed to provide reliable information, practical tools, and support for people living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), helping thousands of individuals and families navigate one of the UK’s fastest-growing healthcare challenges. According to a report by Asian Image, the initiative aims to bridge the widening gap between rising demand for ADHD support and limited access to timely clinical services.
The platform was created by 24-year-old Zaid Bux, who was born and raised in Blackburn. A graduate of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), Bux now serves as Pharmacist Manager at Pharmalogic Chemist in Bamber Bridge. Drawing on his professional experience in community pharmacy, he developed the platform to provide free, evidence-based ADHD resources for children, adults, parents, teachers, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

The platform offers practical guidance, educational resources, symptom awareness tools, and expert information aimed at reducing misinformation while encouraging early recognition and appropriate professional support. According to the Asian Image report, Bux created the initiative after witnessing the challenges many individuals and families face due to lengthy NHS waiting times for ADHD assessments and a shortage of accessible, trustworthy information.
Healthcare experts increasingly recognise the importance of early identification and intervention for ADHD. While online educational platforms cannot replace a formal diagnosis or medical treatment, they can provide valuable self-management strategies, improve awareness, and guide people towards qualified healthcare services. Initiatives like Bux’s also play an important role in reducing stigma and promoting a better understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions.
As awareness of ADHD continues to grow across the UK, digital health initiatives such as Zaid Bux’s platform demonstrate how young healthcare professionals are leveraging technology to expand access to trusted information and community support.
