Aziz Foundation Brings Ramadan Lights London Back To The West End For Third Year!. London’s West End is set to shine brighter than ever this Ramadan as the Aziz Foundation announces the return of its iconic Ramadan Lights London display for the third consecutive year. From 28th February to 6th April 2025, Coventry Street will once again be illuminated by a breathtaking aerial display of over 30,000 LED bulbs, transforming the heart of the city into a dazzling celebration of Ramadan and Eid.

This year’s event promises to be the most immersive yet, with a host of free, family-friendly activities and experiences designed to bring communities together. The lights will glow nightly from 5:00pm to 5:00am, symbolising unity, hope, and London’s vibrant multicultural spirit.

A Celebration of Innovation and Inclusivity

Marking the Aziz Foundation’s 10th anniversary, the 2025 edition introduces exciting new features to make the festivities more inclusive and engaging than ever before:

‘Spread The Light’ Interactive Installation
A stunning new light installation in Leicester Square will allow visitors to press a button, sending beams of light soaring up the structure. This interactive experience embodies the themes of connection and community, encouraging everyone to share in the spirit of Ramadan.

London’s First Iftar Food Trail
Food lovers can embark on the Ramadan Delights food trail, featuring exclusive offers at some of London’s top Halal-friendly restaurants. Participating venues include Hotel Indigo London 1 Leicester SquareFranco’s LondonAmericana LondonFarzi LondonShake Shack UK, and Bone Daddies Group.

Local Prayer Spaces
An interactive online map will help visitors locate nearby spaces to break their fast and pray comfortably, ensuring a seamless experience for those observing Ramadan.

 Community Lantern Project
Families and individuals can download and decorate a ‘Spread The Light’ lantern pattern from the Aziz Foundation’s website. By sharing their creations, participants can help spread the Ramadan spirit across the UK.

From Ramadan to Eid

As Ramadan concludes, the lights will transition from “Happy Ramadan” to “Happy Eid” on 30th March, continuing to shine until 6th April 2025 to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

In 2023, Coventry Street made history as the first location in Western Europe to host aerial Ramadan lights. Since then, the event has become a beloved annual tradition, drawing visitors from across the UK and beyond.
