Bangladesh’s star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has completed his graduation in BBA. He attended the convocation ceremony at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) on Sunday, March 19.
He smashed 93 runs off 89 balls in the first ODI against Ireland. Shakib became the second Bangladesh player to score 7,000 runs in one-day internationals. He joined the list of players who have accumulated 7,000 runs and taken 300 wickets in the 50-over format.
Meanwhile, he finally fulfilled his dream of becoming a graduate. Shakib got emotional during the function.
“When you dream, you dream big. I wanted to achieve this goal,” said Shakib.
Anamul Haque Bijoy was another Bangladeshi cricketer who graduated from the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).
