Dance teacher Salma Zaman from Salma’s Bollywood Dance Academy will take you through some simple and fun Bollywood dancing steps to get you ready for the evening of disco deewangi to come.
Disco Deewaney (Retro Bollywood Disco) | 7pm | £8 – £10
It’s time to let your hair down, kick off those heels and pull on that sequinned jumpsuit (not necessarily in that order!) as Bradford South Asian Festival once again celebrates the pure, unbridled joy of retro Bollywood disco!
It’s the ultimate girls’ night out in a safe women-only space – and it’s an all-out celebration of desi kitsch. The event was such a hit last year, especially with the ladies, that we decided to bring it back bigger, glitzier and girlier. And before the dancefloor opens up, there will be a chance to learn and practice a few dazzling desi disco moves with the help of Salma Zaman, of Salma’s Bollywood Dance Academy.
Please note this event is for women only.
