Pakistan Women’s Forum Kuwait Elects New Office-Bearers for 2024-2026. The Pakistan Women’s Forum Kuwait (PWF), a leading organization representing Pakistani women in Kuwait, held its electoral campaign on February 13, 2025, to elect a new general body for the 2024-2026 tenure. The event, hosted at the Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait, was organized by the outgoing President Nighat Tariq and her executive team (2022-2024).

The ceremony was graced by Hamza Tauqeer, Community Welfare Attaché (CWA) at the Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait, as the chief guest. The event began with a warm welcome by Marukh Omer, followed by a heartfelt address by Nighat Tariq, who expressed gratitude for the support and achievements of her team. Contesting candidates then presented their visions and plans before the gathering, leading to the election of the new leadership team:

  • President: Fareeha Mazhar
  • Vice President: Bushra Nouman
  • General Secretary: Shazia Arshad
  • Treasurer: Hina Pervaiz

In recognition of her contributions, Nighat Tariq was elevated to the position of Advisory & Executive Member, while Sabiha Ubaid Arain was appointed as an Honorary Advisory Member.

The event also featured an awards ceremony to honor the dedication and efforts of the outgoing team and subcommittee members. Certificates of appreciation were presented by Hamza Tauqeer and Nighat Tariq, acknowledging their hard work and commitment to the organization’s mission.

In his address, Hamza Tauqeer praised PWF for its impactful initiatives, particularly in charitable work and cultural exhibitions, which have helped promote a positive image of Pakistan in Kuwait. He emphasized the importance of such organizations in empowering women and fostering community development.

The event concluded with a group photo session, followed by refreshments for all attendees.
