Yas Island, Abu Dhabi to host IIFA Utsavam, a celebration of South Indian cinema this September 2024. Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan, the event aims to showcase the talent and diversity of South Indian cinema.
The two-day extravaganza will feature performances, awards, and cinematic experiences, highlighting the achievements of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries. Held in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the event will unite industry luminaries and movie enthusiasts from around the world.
Andre Timmins, Founder/Director, expressed excitement for the event’s return to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, emphasizing the celebration of South Indian cinema’s finest talents. Taghrid AlSaeed, Executive Director at Miral, praised Yas Island’s selection as host, underscoring its status as a top global entertainment destination.
The event will showcase the vibrant worlds of Tamil and Malayalam cinema on day one, followed by Telugu and Kannada cinema on day two. With special pricing options available, attendees can immerse themselves in exclusive screenings and experiences, indulging their passion for cinema.
