Directed by Prasanth Varma and featuring Teja Sajja in the lead role, this larger-than-life Telugu adventure has continued its winning streak on the digital platform.
Following its premiere on ZEE5 Global, “HanuMan” achieved a significant milestone by becoming the second-biggest Telugu movie opener on the platform, trailing only behind the monumental success of “RRR“. Additionally, it emerged as the second-biggest opener across all movies this year, following closely behind “Sam Bahadur”.
The success of “HanuMan” has not only bolstered the viewership of Telugu content on ZEE5 Global but has also led to a surge in overall Telugu content consumption. Other key titles like “RRR”, “Bimbisara”, “Bangaraju”, and “Kartikeya 2” have witnessed a notable uptick in viewership, with Telugu consistently ranking among the platform’s top three languages.
Despite its initial low budget, “HanuMan” has transcended boundaries and garnered global success, trending on ZEE5 Global in key markets such as the USA, UK, UAE, Canada, and Australia. Notably, the film has contributed to nearly 60% of the platform’s subscriptions from the US alone.
