Bradford based Roshni Women’s Group Fundraises for Gaza, Palestine. A women’s group from BD3 has successfully raised nearly £2,000 to support Gaza through the Human Relief Foundation’s (HRF) Palestine Emergency Appeal. The Roshni Women’s Group organized learning workshops and children’s activities at their education center, located adjacent to Masjid E Usman, to gather funds for this critical cause.

HRF, a Bradford-based humanitarian aid charity, has been tirelessly working to provide food, water, security, and refugee care in some of the world’s most challenging and impoverished regions. The charity, which has been active in Gaza since the conflict began, collaborates with partners in Jordan to deliver vital aid to those affected by the ongoing crisis.

Thanks to the generosity of groups like Roshni Women’s Group and individual donors, HRF has managed to send three convoys of non-perishable food supplies and establish a mobile kitchen in Deir al-Balah, located in the central Gaza Strip. These efforts have been crucial in providing relief whenever access to the region has been possible. HRF plans to dispatch its next aid delivery from Jordan within the coming month.

Mohammed Talhah, HRF’s Fundraiser for the North region, expressed deep gratitude for the group’s contributions. “On behalf of HRF, I’d like to thank Roshni Women’s Group for the generosity they have shown. Their collaboration has enabled us to provide essential aid to those caught up in this humanitarian crisis. It’s fantastic to work with local organizations that prioritize community service.”

Tahera Kacholia, chair of the Roshni Women’s Group, emphasized the importance of their partnership with HRF. “While we have collaborated with various charities, we chose to work with the Human Relief Foundation due to their reputable standing and their ongoing dedication to raising awareness and funds for the Palestine Emergency Appeal.”

This collaboration highlights the power of community-driven initiatives in making a tangible impact on global humanitarian efforts, demonstrating how local groups can contribute significantly to international aid.
