Indian Consul General hosts dinner reception to celebrate multicultural festivals and foster community unity. India’s Consul General (CG) Dr. Sushil Kumar hosted a Dinner Reception for the Indian community and faith leaders to celebrate Eid, Easter, Ramnavami, Vaishakhi, and Chetichand at the Indian Consulate. He praised their efforts in organizing socio-cultural events, promoting India’s rich heritage, and fostering community cohesion.

Dr. Kumar assured support from the CG and the Consulate for future endeavors in enhancing social cohesion and promoting friendship among multicultural communities. Attendees shared feedback on various community issues, including challenges faced by international students, swimming safety, and language barriers.

Suggestions included establishing a combined fund for addressing financial needs and utilizing existing funds within community and faith organizations. The CG pledged to explore these suggestions further and organize more community catch-up events.

Community leaders engaged in networking and exchanged valuable ideas during the dinner, fostering collaboration and camaraderie among attendees.
