The South Asian International Film Festival Florida (SAIFFF) comes to Tampa, Florida on April 19th and 20th. It marks the region’s inaugural South Asian film festival, showcasing a diverse array of shorts, documentaries, and feature films from India, Pakistan, Nepal, the UK, Australia, Canada, and the USA, spotlighting the richness of South Asian cinema.

SAIFFF is the brainchild of a dedicated team of film enthusiasts, comprising IT professionals, scientists, doctors, and local business owners. Each aspect of film organization is meticulously handled by these dedicated members, infusing the event with expertise and enthusiasm.

Exciting Film Lineup
Highlights of SAIFFF include the North American premiere of the Hindi film “The Lost Girl,” depicting Suhani’s poignant journey during the 1984 Sikh riots.
Also featured are Omi Vaidya’s Marathi film “Aaichya Gavat Marathit Bol,” and “Dada Lakhmi,” directed by renowned actor Yashpal Sharma.
Additionally, the festival presents the North American premiere of “Proof Of Concept,” a feature film by local filmmaker Anjani Pandey.

SAIFFF showcases an array of captivating short films and documentaries from around the world. Titles like “The Peace Activists,” exploring the remarkable similarities between Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. in their pursuit of peace and non-violence.
