Ontario Premier Doug Ford Opens Campaign Office of Dr. Noor Tarun in Scarborough Southwest: The campaign for the upcoming provincial by-election in Scarborough Southwest has gained momentum, with Ontario Premier Doug Ford joining the campaign of Progressive Conservative (PC) candidate Dr. Noor Tarun and expressing confidence in his prospects.
Premier Ford took part in door-to-door campaigning in the Pharmacy and Warden area on August 3, speaking directly with local voters and listening to their concerns. He also spoke with several Bangladeshi media outlets and voiced his optimism about Dr. Tarun’s campaign.
The following day, Ford attended the official opening of Dr. Tarun’s campaign office, accompanied by four cabinet ministers. A large gathering of supporters and voters attended the event, with the Premier expressing enthusiasm over the strong turnout.
Ford highlighted Dr. Tarun’s background as a family physician, saying the PC Party was pleased to have a candidate with his professional experience seeking to represent the riding.
“We are very excited to have a family physician like Dr. Tarun as our candidate,” Ford said, emphasizing the need for a strong voice for the people of Scarborough Southwest at Queen’s Park.
The Premier urged residents to support Dr. Tarun, arguing that his election would contribute to the development and progress of Scarborough Southwest.
During his address, Ford also outlined various initiatives and developments undertaken by the Ontario PC government in the Scarborough area. He highlighted his experience during the door-to-door campaign, describing the response from residents as positive.
